RESEARCH INTERESTS:
     Hydrodynamics of Offshore Engineering
Fundamental study on the deepwater platforms and structures, including heave plate on Spar, vortex induced vibration and motion of risers and platforms, etc. Nonlinear hydrodynamic issues including green water, wave run-up and impact etc
     Deepwater Floating Platform and its Positioning System
Coupled analysis of hydrodynamic performances of deepwater floating platform and its mooring system. Characteristics of the deepwater mooring system. Dynamic positioning system. Model testing technique in offshore engineering
